lazypig

Terms of Service

Last updated 2 November 2026

Test version. These terms are for the lazypig beta and will be replaced by the final version before launch.

1. Who we are

lazypig is a fitness app where you challenge friends, compete on leaderboards and join paid pools, all scored from Apple Health. It is run by lazypig (test operator), Praha, Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 00000000 ("lazypig", "we", "us").

By creating an account you agree to these terms, the Pool Rules (section 8) and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use lazypig.

2. Who can use lazypig

3. Your account

You sign in with Apple. You choose a display name, a username and an emoji, which other people see.

4. How challenges work

There are three kinds of challenge:

Scores come from the daily totals your iPhone and connected devices record in Apple Health, measured in the challenge's days. If the Health app hasn't synced, your score may lag until it does. lazypig can't score activity that Apple Health doesn't have.

5. Fair play

Only activity your devices record on their own counts. Manually entered workouts are ignored.

Cheating includes faking activity (shaking your phone, a moving vehicle during a run), letting someone else wear your device, editing Health data, or using more than one account. If we reasonably believe you cheated, we may remove you from the challenge or pool, keep your entry in the pot, and close your account. We will tell you why and you can respond within the dispute window (section 8.6).

6. Oinks and how you treat others

Oinks are short trash-talk messages you send to people in a challenge with you. You pick them from lazypig's list; you can't write your own. You can send one oink a minute to each person.

Keep it friendly. Don't use lazypig to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone. We may limit oinks, remove you from challenges or close your account if you do.

7. Prizes between friends

In raises and leaderboards you can add a prize ("loser buys dinner"). It is an agreement between the players. lazypig only shows it; we don't collect, hold or enforce it, and we aren't responsible if someone doesn't pay up. Don't use prizes for money bets or anything illegal.

8. Paid pools

Paid pools are skill contests: the result depends only on your own activity, never on chance. All amounts are in Czech crowns (Kč). If the app shows euros or dollars, those are estimates; you are charged and paid in crowns.

8.1 Joining

You join by paying the entry fee before the pool starts, by card or Apple Pay through our payment provider Stripe, or from your lazypig balance. You are in once the payment is confirmed. If the pool fills up or starts while you are paying, the payment is refunded in full.

8.2 Standard and flexible entry

EntryYou payLeave before the startAfter the start
StandardThe entry feeNo refund; your entry stays in the potYou can't leave
FlexibleEntry fee + 10 %The entry fee comes back; the 10 % is keptYou can't leave

Refunds go back the way you paid: to your card, or to your balance. Card refunds usually take 5–10 working days to appear.

8.3 Staying in

8.4 Payout

The pot is every entry fee paid in, including standard entries that left before the start. Flexibility fees are not part of the pot.

lazypig's fee is 25 % of the forfeited entries (the entries of everyone who didn't finish). It never comes out of finishers' own entries, so the fewer people finish, the bigger the fee, and a finisher always gets back at least what they paid. The rest of the pot is split equally between finishers, rounded down to whole crowns.

Each finisher's whole share, their own entry included, goes to their lazypig balance. If nobody finishes, nobody gets a prize and entries are not refunded.

8.5 Timing

Results are final and paid out 48 hours after the pool's last day. If a pool's terms differ from these (for example a different fee), its page shows that before you pay.

8.6 Disputes

If you think your result is wrong, contact support@lazypig.app before payout, within the 48 hours. We may ask for evidence such as a route or workout record. Our decision on the result is final for that pool, without affecting your legal rights.

8.7 Your balance

Your balance holds your winnings and refunds of entries paid from it. You can use it to join pools, or withdraw it to your bank. The first withdrawal needs a one-time identity and bank check by Stripe; lazypig never sees your bank details. Withdrawals are in whole crowns and usually reach your bank within a few working days. A balance is not a deposit account and earns no interest.

8.8 Cancelled pools

If lazypig cancels a pool, everyone gets everything back, including flexibility fees.

8.9 Right of withdrawal

A pool is a leisure service on fixed dates, so the 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases does not apply once you join. You can still leave as described in 8.2.

9. Health and safety

lazypig is a game, not medical or fitness advice. Heart-rate zones are estimates. Check with a doctor before starting a new exercise routine, especially if you have a health condition, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. No challenge or pool is worth an injury: you can always fold or stop.

10. The legal part

Changes. We may update these terms. We'll tell you in the app at least 14 days before an important change takes effect; changes never apply to a pool you have already joined.

Ending. You can stop using lazypig and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; we'll pay out any balance you're owed unless it came from cheating.

Availability. We try to keep lazypig running, but it may sometimes be unavailable. If a problem on our side affects a pool's result, we'll fix it fairly or refund the entries.

Liability. We are responsible for losses we cause by breaking these terms or by negligence, as consumer law requires. We are not liable for injuries from exercise you choose to do, for data Apple Health doesn't record, or for prizes between friends. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer.

Law and disputes. These terms are governed by Czech law. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of your own country's consumer law. You can bring a consumer complaint out of court to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI, coi.cz).

Apple. These terms are between you and lazypig, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for lazypig and isn't a sponsor of any challenge or pool.
